The Grafton Greyhound Racing Club conducts a carnival of racing each year during July. This carnival is one of the most unique happenings in the greyhound racing world. Thousands of greyhound enthusiasts travel to the "Jacaranda City" for a very hectic 2 weeks of racing. The Club operates a caravan park adjacent to the course which is turned into "Caravan City" during the peak time of racing.
Car parking is available inside the grounds. There are camping facilities for travelling trainers, and there are kennels available for greyhounds. The track has a loam surface and a cable lure system is installed. There are video replays of all races and videos are available to those owner/trainers requiring them.
